Through yet another year we see the good hand of our God upon us (Nehemiah). We are so thankful to God for your partnership with us during 2024 (Philippians). Your support of this Gospel mission work is such an encouragement to us, and we certainly know that without supporters like you, this ministry might not be possible.
May the Lord encourage you with this short report of the work in Moka during 2024.
-First, by God’s gracious purposes we have been able to both preach through and audio record Genesis 1-11.
The people in and around Moka now have a much clearer understanding of this first section of Scripture.
Not only did the people hear Caleb read each verse of Gen 1-11, but as well they heard him preach verse by verse through this text. Also with the audio recording of this section of the Bible (that we recorded with the men of Moka), the people were able, over and over again, to listen to each of these 11 chapters on the audio devices that some of you donated towards.
-Second, during 2024, Caleb was able to translate all 16 chapters of the Gospel of Mark. We also audio recorded the first half of this book. Our goal is that Caleb will preach Mark 1-8 beginning in the new year. (After preaching through this first half of Mark, Caleb’s plan is to then translate and preach through the Minor Prophet of Jonah.)
-Third, after 7 years of grueling jungle work with only hand tools, by God’s kind providence the Moka airstrip was officially opened November 14. Providentially as well, this was the same date which Kobe died in 2021 (Kobe was the first man we believe the Lord saved in Moka).
-Four, Melissa is in her 10th year of homeschooling. Elijah is now in highschool doing Generations curriculum (highly recommended). Bella is in 7th grade. Melissa has also been involved for 8 new baby births this year in Moka, delivering one just recently in October. God is good.

We thank God for all of you who partner with us in this Gospel mission work. We expect the Lord our God to continue to do great things to bring honor to His Name.
