Weekly Sermon Excerpt

The guy who walks with a limp all over the place? I’m his God. The guy who used to be a thief and whose life is a mess because he can’t run his family and it’s just an absolute disaster? I’m the God of that guy, the God of Jacob. He’s not embarrassed. And why is God so pleased to say over and over and over again in the Old Testament, more than Abraham, more than David, to say, “I’m the God of Jacob”? Why does He do that? Well, of course, the answer is very simple. It’s because then He gets all the glory. He gets all the glory. — 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞
